Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic Massage is often utilized for treatment of sports injuries, household or motor vehicle accidents, repetitive actions on the job, and tension from everyday stresses. Therapeutic massage offers invaluable systemic effects. It stimulates vascular and lymphatic circulation, which can improve tissue health, increase joint nutrition, increase waste elimination and decrease swelling.

Craniosacral Therapy

Akin to ripples across the water, Craniosacral Therapy mirrors the fluid, liquid-like movements of healing. This subtle, non-invasive treatment works to heal the cranial sacral system (the area in which the brain and spinal cord function), thus freeing blockages within the system and allowing the free-flow of cerebrospinal fluid around the brain and spinal chord. Creating rebalance, this therapy helps dissipate the negative effects of stress, and enhances general health and resistance to disease. Clients of Craniosacral Therapy often report a sense of peace and inner-balance following this relaxing treatment.

Reflexology

Concentrating on the body's energy channels, Reflexology is a holistic therapy that stimulates specific reflex points. This form of manipulation, which assists in balancing and rejuvenating the body, helps to revitalize the circulatory system, promoting proper function to the immune system. This method of finger manipulation frees the flow of chi (the life force energy), which corrects energy imbalances and releases toxins within the body. This age-old therapy is rooted in Asian culture and philosophy as a medicine-free way to heal the body.

Thai Yoga Massage

Traditional Thai Massage uses rhythmic compressions applied to specific energy lines, gentle rocking techniques, and deep stretching to restore a sense of well-being and to reinvigorate the body. It is often referred to as "Yoga Massage" because of the yoga-like positions that the practitioner puts the client's body into while applying stretches. Traditional Thai Massage is done on a mat on the floor with the client in loose-fitting, comfortable clothing that will allow the body to move and stretch. However, Thai Massage has been adapted so it can be delivered on a table as well.
