Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine involving the insertion of sterile, one-time-use acupuncture needles into the skin at various points on the body. This promotes balance in the flow of energy along the meridians (energy pathways) to achieve a therapeutic effect. It is used to encourage natural healing, improve mood and energy, reduce or alleviate pain and improve function in any affected areas of the body. With a calming effect, relief is often obtained using acupuncture when other therapies have failed. As a safe, effective complementary therapy, acupuncture is helpful in treating an individual to restore a state of ease and harmony that allows the body to function optimally and to enhance health.

As a great form of preventative medicine, acupuncture complements many other forms of therapy, treatment plans, or health protocols. It is useful for acute and chronic conditions as well as promoting an overall state of health, balance and well being physically, mentally, and emotionally.
